Today I received my new keyboard Lenovo 0B47202 ThinkPad Compact USB Keyboard. When you are looking for images of exactly this keyboard, you you only find images of the english layout, not the german one! Well, I have not found at least one image… That’s why I made some photos, perhaps someone needs them for product presentation or something similar, or only wants to see how the german layout looks like!

I have to admin that I have not tested the Bluetooth device with my former Windows 7 installations on the Inspirons 17 3737, so I thought that the WLAN problem was the only one – that was false conclusion. The problem with the Bluetooth device was, that smartphones or other notebooks could perhaps find the Dell Inspiron 17 3737 (or even could not find it!), but paring was impossible!
Today I received another DELL Inspiron 17 3737, so I can now test the Bluetooth problem mentioned here. But first, I had to install Windows 7 again… So, the first thing was to disable Secure Boot in BIOS, because Windows 7 does not install correctly with enabled Secure Boot option.
Some weeks ago I installed Windows 7 on a DELL Inspiron 17 3737 notebook for a friend – yesterday, another Inspiron 17, the same procedure, the same problem! Most drivers for devices were loaded automatically by Windows Update, other drivers can be downloaded from dell.com. All worked fine, but not with the WLAN device… That’s the reason for this post!
Today I installed Windows 8.1 64-bit on a HP G62-b63SG notebook. Everything went fine and all devices were identified correctly – until the notebook activated the suspend mode and I woke it up again. The screen was black now and seemed to be turned off, while the machine was running… Well, at the first moment I thought that the display was turned off and not reactivated, but it was not the case! Only the backlight was off, which I realized in a lucky break…
